For as long as I can remember I've watched cartoons. Dating back to Tiny Toon Adventures from 1990 (a year before I was even born!) I can remember classic cartoons from 1990 to 2000. Back when Nikelodeon or even Boomerang were a thing, I've been watching cartoons for quite a while, only stopping more recently with the strange turn around of what cartoons once were. What's being released now just isn't appealing or "funny" as it is being led on to believe, and I've just dropped general interest.

But I do enjoy watching older cartoons even now. Nothing quite says nostalgia like Rugrats. But when cartoons started to change I started to get involved in Anime through a Final Fantasy message board/forum page. I didn't know exactly what Anime was at the time, but a few people on there had been talking about things like Naruto and Bleach, way back before Naruto Shippuden and when Bleach had around 90 episodes in Japan.
My first experience with Anime was actually back when a friend of mine got me into Sailor Moon, and subsequently Yu Yu Hakusho. I didn't know these were Anime at the time. I could also add Dragon Ball Z to that list. At that point I was a huge fan of the action scenes, and when fitting music matched the battles, it was amazing.

Now, Dub or Sub? My first sub experience was with Bleach. Everyone kept nagging me to watch in Sub as Japan was much further ahead in...well just about anything. And I slowly adjusted to watching it in Sub, reading english subtitles as they were displayed along the bottom.

This led to a year of Anime high for me, having a new Anime for each day of the week. I've since not watched much Anime but plan to catch up...a lot. Same for cartoons.

So as far as video games go, first ever one was Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes back for the Playstation. First ever console as well, now that I think about it. Back then, gaming was a huge - still is - part of my life. I can't think of much else I'd do without video games.

From the Sony Playstation to the SNES to the Gamecube and Wii to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, I can safely say I've played on all main major consoles, and my wife and I probably own most of the main popular games from those generations. And our collection just keeps growing as we collect older games or buy newer ones, gaining new interest for different things over the years.

And that brings us to the main reason this site was created, and that was for gaming! From Let's Plays to challening you as a gamer to blind playthroughs or Minecraft on twitch.tv, it all starts here. Let's hype it up and enjoy some vidgya gams!

And finally at the bottom of the barrel, reading and writing.
While I've not always been a reader myself, when I met my wife she was a reader, so I took it upon myself to start up reading myself. This coupled with the fact that I watch Anime started me on the path of writing; applying ideas that I've not seen before in a way I could.
While they're mostly fictional and fantasy books, that's my strongest genre, revolving around the impossible and the unbelieveable.

I never like reality a whole a lot, and when I thought of creating my own worlds with my own plots, characters, landscapes and anything else you can think of, it let my mind create what I want, allowing total and complete freedom. A good example was when I tired something along the lines of Fanfiction with Digimon and inserting myself into that universe. Since then I've tried very things, one of which can be found here.

From there I've read books along similar lines for ideas and use Anime as another source poitn along with gaming. Good thing the latter two allow visualization, as I'm horrible at describe things I can easily picture within my own mind. Poetry I use to try and play a small role in this, which is about the only reason I'm dabbling a little in it. Maybe I'll create something great, but who knows.

As with that, enjoy the subsections which will list everything I've watched, played and read.
